These terms govern your use of Schooh. By signing in or using any part of the app, you agree to them.

1. Who can use Schooh

• Schooh is built for CBSE students in classes 9–12, generally aged 13–18.
• If you are under 18, you must have a parent or guardian's permission to use Schooh. We collect a parent's email during onboarding for users in Class 9–11.
• You must provide accurate information. Don't impersonate someone else.

2. Your account

• You sign in with Google. We don't store your Google password.
• You're responsible for activity on your account.
• If you suspect unauthorized access, email help@schooh.com immediately.

3. Acceptable use

Don't use Schooh to:

• Cheat on exams (we don't help with answering questions during a live test).
• Scrape, copy, or resell our content, AI outputs, or career reports.
• Harass other students in study rooms, leaderboards, or any social feature.
• Probe for security vulnerabilities. (Want to help? Email help@schooh.com with what you found — we appreciate it.)
• Run automated bots or stress-test our AI endpoints.

4. Free and paid features

• Free: chapter tracker, AI Tutor (with daily limits), Today screen, Career assessment + Lite Report, Schooh Pulse, study rooms.
• Paid: Full Career Report (₹199 launch price), 1:1 Career Counsellor sessions (₹2,999 / ₹4,999 / ₹9,999 tiers).
• Paid features are currently in invite-only beta. Submitting a waitlist form does not create a payment obligation; we'll send you a separate payment link if/when we open access.

5. Career reports and AI outputs

• Our Career Discovery report is based on your assessment answers and AI analysis of similar Indian student paths. It's a thoughtful starting point, not a prediction or guarantee.
• AI outputs may occasionally be wrong, outdated, or biased. Always verify important information (admissions deadlines, eligibility criteria, syllabus changes) with official sources.
• We're not financial, legal, medical, or educational advisors. Decisions about your career, college choices, or coaching are yours and your family's.

6. User-contributed content

When you add custom subjects, books, or chapters, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use that data in aggregated, de-identified form to suggest similar materials to other students. We won't ever publish your name with this data.

7. Termination

• You can delete your account anytime: Settings → Delete My Account, or email us.
• We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, scrape our data, or harass other users.
• If we shut down a feature, we'll email you with at least 30 days notice and help you export your data.

8. Pricing changes

The Full Report is ₹199 during beta. We may revise pricing in the future. Any change is forward-only — if you've already paid, your access stands.

9. Disclaimers

Schooh is provided "as is". We do our best, but the service may have downtime, bugs, or unexpected behavior. We're not liable for any indirect or consequential losses (e.g., a missed exam date you should have verified independently).

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New Delhi.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. We'll let you know about material changes via email and a banner on your dashboard.
